| Bedrooms & Maintenance |
Laundry
If you require any items of laundry washing please contact a
member of staff. A small charge may be required with
this service. Drying facilities are available. Please ask
a member of staff. An iron and ironing board is available
for guest use. Please ask a member of staff.
Tea & Coffee
Tea and coffee supplies are replenished daily. If you require
additional items please ask a member of staff. Fresh milk and
/ or decaffeinated coffee are both available on request.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the building. Smoking points and
ashtrays can be found to the front and rear of the building.
A £50 on the spot fine will be made to any person smoking in
the rooms or any other inside area.
Departure
We respectfully request that you vacate your bedroom by 10.00am on your day of departure.
Please ensure that you leave your key on reception and that you have taken all your belongings.
Wake-Up Call
If you require a portable alarm clock or morning wake-up call please ask a member of staff.
Flowers
We are happy to organise bouquets or floral arrangements for you during your stay. Please ask a member of staff.
Fire Precautions
Please read the fire instruction sign displayed on or near the room door.
Make yourself aware of the fire exit direction and escape routes.
If you require advice please ask a member of staff.
If you may require assistance in the event of an evacuation please hang the red door
sign on the outside of your door for the period of your stay.
You will be advised in advance of any exercises or maintenance of the alarm system.
Television
All televisions in the room are digital Freeview enabled.
Our Freeview transmitter is from South Wales so BBC1, BBC2 & ITV are Welsh local.
A range of TV and radio channels are available. '
If you have any problems using your TV please ask a member of staff.
Please consider other guests and keep you TV volume to an acceptable level.
Special Needs
If you may require assistance in the event of an evacuation please inform a member of staff and also hang the red door sign on the outside of your door for the period of your stay.
A portable hearing loop and a customer care pack (contains special pens, magnifying strips, etc) is available for use during your stay. Please contact a member of staff if you require either of these items.

Servicing of you room is carried out during the morning.
Please hang your DND sign on the outside of your room door if you do not want to be
disturbed.
Please hang your PMUMR sign if your room is vacant and awaiting servicing.
Security
Please ensure that you lock your door whilst absent from your room or after retiring
for the evening.
We ask that you keep your key with you at all times.
For any large amounts of money and / or small valuable items, we have a safe in
which to store them. Please contact a member of staff.
Hairdryer
Rooms do not contain a hairdryer. If you require the use of a hair dryer please ask a member of staff.
Towels
Towels will be replenished daily, but please consider
the environment: Towels placed in the shower tray means
: 'Please Change' Towels placed elsewhere means : 'I Will Use Them Again'

Meals
Breakfast is served at 9.00am. (last cooked breakfast served at 9.15am ).
Cooked
Breakfast must be pre-booked.
Early continental breakfast available by arrangement.
Evening Meal is served at 6.30pm. Meal order is taken at breakfast time.
Packed Lunches
Packed lunches are available at £5.00.
These include 2 full sandwiches, beverage,
crisps and choice of fruit. ( please note that these must be ordered the day before )
Special Diets
We are happy to cater for any special requirements, but please give advanced notice.
Take Away Meals
We have no objection to any guest ordering or bringing into the hotel take away
meals.
Various menus are available either in this pack or in reception.
We have had a number of instances of excessive grease on the bedding and carpets
so PLEASE DO NOT eat them in your room.
Ask a member of staff and a table will
be made available in either the dining room or the bar.
An additional charge for the cleaning of bedding or carpets will be charged in the
event of such an occurrence. |

Doctors
The doctors surgery is located in StBrannocks Road, within the Medical Centre.

They are happy to see visitors from out of the area with an appointment. Please contact a member of staff if required. There is also an out of hours surgery for none emergencies, Tel 08456710270. For all emergencies the nearest A&E hospital is located in Barnstaple.

There is a payphone situated on the table in reception (10p & 20p coins only )

Our closest newsagent is situated in the High Street at the top of Fore Street, on the left.
National Lottery
There are various places to purchase tickets for the Lottery and Euro Millions. Our nearest store would be Richardsons newsagents in the High Street.
Banks
The High Street contains the majority of Banks. Free withdrawals are available from most.
Post Office
The local post office is situated in the High Street, at the back of the McColls minimarket.
Parking
Our car park is allocated in order of booking, with possible prioritisation to the elderly or disabled.
Public parking is available at various locations within llfracombe and the surrounding area. 4 and 7 day permits are available. Please ask a member of staff.
